New Delhi: The corona epidemic has created a lot of terror across the country. He said the inaction of the Government of India is killing many innocent persons. He also suggested imposition of lockdown to prevent infection in the country. He tweeted that the Government of India is still not able to understand the situation. The country received 3,57,229 new cases of corona infection on Tuesday and 3,449 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter, "The Government of India is not understanding the situation. The only way to spread corona infection is now the complete lockdown. With this (lockdown), the poor sections should be protected under 'justice'. The inaction of the Government of India is killing many innocent people. 'Nyay' is the Congress Party's Minimum Income Scheme (NYAY), which the party had promised to give to the poor during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections".

Last year, Rahul Gandhi opposed the stringent lockdown imposed in the first round of infection. He had said that the decision of the Central Government had adversely affected the poor of the country. He has also said on several occasions that the virus cannot be defeated by lockdown. Rahul Gandhi has been constantly targeting the Central government accusing it of not handling the vaccination situation and infection. In a tweet on Monday too, he alleged that the government's policy paralysis cannot win the war against the virus.
