New Delhi: In view of the increasing number of corona infected patients in the country's capital Delhi, the Southern Corporation has decided to set up isolation and quarantine centres in its hospitals at Tilak Nagar and Kalkaji. Giving more details about these centres, Southern Corporation leader Sadan Narendra Chawla said that all necessary medical facilities like oxygen, medicines, etc. will be available at both the centres.

Doctors, health workers and necessary facilities will be available at the centres. The main objective behind starting these centres is to provide isolation facility to citizens who do not have access to it at home and who are essentially required to live in quarantine. The important thing is that the two centres will be in sync with nearby hospitals so that the patient gets medical care immediately in case of any emergency. All basic amenities such as PPE kits, masks, sanitisers, soaps, etc. and many monitoring facilities such as oximeters, oxygen cylinders will also be available at these centres.

A large number of citizens need to be kept in isolation due to the suddenly increased corona infection in the national capital. The corporation is also conducting sensitization campaigns from time to time.
