New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will visit the scene of Friday's fire in Mundka, where a four-story structure was demolished by a tremendous blaze.  Satyendar Jain is also expected to accompany the Chief Minister.

On Friday evening, a big fire broke out, killing 27 people and injuring 12. Several persons are still missing, according to reports. The fire, however, was brought under control, according to fire officials.

Kejriwal said he was in close contact with the authorities as the firefighters attempted to put out the fire yesterday.
"This awful tragedy has shocked and pained me. I'm always in contact with officers. Our heroic firefighters are doing everything they can to put out the fire and save lives. God bless everyone "The Chief Minister issued a tweet.

On Saturday, a search and rescue operation was conducted in the building by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer District) Sameer Sharma, 50 individuals have been rescued thus far. "The fire claimed the lives of 27 persons and injured another 12," DCP Sharma added.
