New Delhi: Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government minister Satyendar Jain has been accused by Deepak Madan alias Deepu, associated with the party. Madan says that Satyendra Jain had taken Rs 1 crore 15 lakh from him in the name of getting the ticket for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election. They allege that Jain is torturing them and demanding Rs 1.5 crore for tickets.

Madan went live for more than 6 hours on Wednesday 20 April 2022 from his Facebook account. During this, he made these allegations against Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain. He did this Facebook live while staging a dharna outside Jain's residence. Deepak Madan says that he has known Satyendra Jain since 2020. Jain had promised to get him a ticket from AAP in this time's MCD elections. According to Madan, 'In the past, when the MCD elections were postponed, Satyendra Jain's poll was exposed. Jain told me that the rate of election tickets in the market is Rs 2 crore, but I will get you MCD ticket for just Rs 1.5 crore. I gave him Rs 1.15 crore. But after the elections were postponed, I did not give the remaining Rs 35 lakh. Jain misbehaved with me about this.

Madan further said, 'Now I do not have to contest elections. They should return my Rs 1.15 crore. I don't have money now. I had to pledge all my gold for the money I gave them. AAP leader Madan said that they had come outside Satyendra Jain's residence for the third time on Wednesday. He also says that he had also messaged his PA urging him to meet CM Arvind Kejriwal. Madan alleged that Satyendra Jain commits corruption of crores of rupees and he has crores of rupees, but what is the problem with him in returning my money.

BJP leader Kapil Mishra has also shared Deepak Madan's live video and an old post on Facebook. He has written that 'AAP leader Deepak Madan was demanding the account of money of 'The Kashmir Files' from Vivek Agnihotri on March 21. Now on April 20, Satyendra is asking Jain for his one crore 15 lakh rupees, which were given to buy MCD tickets.
