The Indian Super League (ISL) will get a new winner this time as the Kerala Blasters team is all set to take on Hyderabad FC in the final here on Sunday. Hyderabad FC has reached the final for the first time while Kerala Blasters will be seen playing in the final for the third time.

Kerala Blasters have made it to the finals in 2014 and 2016 but on both occasions, they had to face defeat to ATK, which has shattered their dream of winning the ISL trophy. Hyderabad FC has qualified for the finals with a total score of 3-2 despite a 0-1 defeat in the second leg of the semi-finals to ATK Mohun Bagan.  

Hyderabad FC has won the first stage 3-1 in which Bartholomew Ogbeche, Yasir Mohammed and Javier Siverio scored for them. At the same time, Kerala Blasters FC has made it to the ISL final for the first time in 2016 after playing out a 1-1 draw with Jamshedpur FC. They have managed to book a place in the final of the two-stage semi-finals over League Shield winners Jamshedpur FC with a total score of 2-1. They had defeated Jamshedpur FC 1-0 in the first leg match in which he was scored by Sahal Abdul Samad.
