Kochi: Congress leaders do not hesitate to show their hatred towards Hindus and their deities. It is also worth noting that no leader of the party ever makes any comment on any other religion. Perhaps they are well aware that, if they do so, they will not get votes and may even get 'Sar Tan Se Juda', but abusing Hindus and their deities gives outright votes. That's why Congress leaders give such ridiculous statements and the big thing is that even the top leadership of the party does not take any action against these leaders.

In this episode, now Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee President K Sudhakaran has spewed poison regarding the Hindu religion. Although Sudhakaran often remains in controversies for his strange statements, but this time he has insulted Lord Shri Ram. In an interview given to a newspaper, he not only despised Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Laxman but also distorted the facts mentioned in the Ramayana. Actually, Kerala Congress President K Sudhakaran was asked in an interview how the leaders of South Kerala and Malabar are different.

To this, he said, 'Yes, historically there is a difference. I'll tell you a story. Lord Rama, after killing Ravana, was coming from Pushpak Vimana with his wife Sita and brother Laxman. When the plane was leaving the southern region of Kerala, the idea of pushing Rama into the sea came to Laxman's mind and accompanying Sita. But as soon as he reached Thirusura, his mind changed. On this, Lord Rama patted him on the shoulder and said that he had read Laxman's mind and it was not his but the fault of that earth (southern Kerala).'

This statement of the Congress leader was fiercely criticized and after which he had to withdraw his statement. According to the report, Sudhakaran withdrew his statement saying that it was a popular story in the Malabar region, which he grew up listening to. He said, 'I told the same story I had heard. It was not my intention to hurt anyone.' On the other hand, BJP's IT cell chief Amit Malviya on Monday (October 18) raised questions on the anti-Hindu mentality of the Congress.

Malviya has said that 'A state (Kerala) from where former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi is a Lok Sabha MP and he has spent the most time (18 days) for his 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' here, the state president of that state. He has despised Lord Rama, Mother Sita and Laxman. What kind of Hindu haters are these people sitting in the top posts of the Congress, or is this their merit?' In the same interview, Sudhakaran had described Congress Presidential candidate Shashi Tharoor as a trainee and said that he cannot lead the party.
