Thiruvananthapuram: The total number of patients has increased to 64,354, with the highest number of coronary infections reported in Kerala in a single day at 2,476 on Wednesday. State Health Minister KK Selja said in this regard that after the death of thirteen patients, the death toll has reached 257. He said that 69 health care workers are also included in new patients.

The minister said in a release here that at least 1,351 infected people from various hospitals have been discharged after being cured. 22,344 patients are still undergoing treatment. Let me tell you that corona infection is spreading rapidly in the country. More than 75 thousand new cases of corona have been registered in the last 24 hours in India. This is the first time that so many new cases have come up in a day. 1023 patients have also died during this period. With this, the total corona case figure in the country has crossed 33 lakh.

In India, the incidence of infection has increased to 33,10,235, out of which 7,25,991 people are undergoing treatment and 25,23,772 people have recovered from the disease after treatment. Foreign citizens are also included in the total cases of Corona. According to the data, the rate of recovery of infected people has gone up to 76.24 percent while the death rate has come down and it is 1.83 percent.  21.93 percent patients are still undergoing treatment.
