In a recent development, the State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) has granted an extension for the registration period of the Kerala National Means-cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) examination. The new deadline for registration is November 8, 2023. This extension provides an opportunity for Class 8 students aspiring to apply for the Kerala NMMS scholarship exam for the academic year 2023-24. Prospective candidates can complete their registration on the official website, nmmse.kerala.gov.in, with the application window remaining open until 5 p.m.

According to the revised schedule, the final date for school head submission of application verification is November 10 by 5 p.m. The Kerala NMMS scholarship exam for 2023 is scheduled to take place on December 7, 2023.

Applicants need to have the following documents ready during the Kerala NMMS registration process:

Income certificate not exceeding Rs 3.5 lakh, obtainable from the village office. The certificate size should not exceed 100 kb and must be in PDF format.

After successful registration, log in with the generated credentials to complete the application form.

In the application form, provide all the required information, including personal and educational details.

The Kerala NMMS exam for 2023 will be divided into two parts, each lasting 90 minutes. Students with disabilities (PwD) will receive additional time to complete the question paper. Part I will cover the Mental Ability Test (MAT), and Part II will focus on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
