Kerala Police arrest two more SDPI workers in the BJP leader murder case

Kerala- Thiruvananthapuram: Two more SDPI workers have been detained in connection with the murder of BJP leader Renjith Sreenivasan in Alappuzha. the arrest was made on Tuesday.

In total, seven people have been detained in relation to the homicide. Five of the seven had been arrested previously.  Following the assassination of SDPI state secretary KS Shaan the day before, Renjith was hacked to death in Alappuzha district on December 19.

Shaan was riding a two-wheeler when he was ambushed by a gang in a car on Saturday night, according to the police. This incident is being blamed on RSS personnel, according to the SDPI.

S Sanjith, an RSS worker, was slashed to death on November 15 by workers from the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the PFI's political wing. Renjith was the state secretary of the BJP's OBC wing.
