Thrissur : On Thursday, a young man and a woman were found hanging in a lodge near the KSRTC bus station in Thrissur. Rijo (26) of Olarikkara and Sangeetha (26) of Karyattukara were identified as the victims.

They were seen hanging in the lodge room on Thursday morning, according to the police. Rijo worked for Sunil, Sangeetha's spouse, at a catering company.

On Wednesday afternoon, Rijo and Sangeetha arrived at the resort. Sangeetha had gone missing, and Sunil had reported her missing to the police. Sangeetha's phone was traced to a place near the KSRTC bus stop, and their remains were later discovered after a search of the area's hotels and lodges.

The duo is suspected of ingesting poison before hanging themselves, according to the authorities. Sangeetha was the mother of three children. Rijo and Sangeetha were childhood friends, according to sources. Rijo was single and managed a roadside diner near the Olari village office.
