Necessary ingredients

Melon seeds - 4 cups
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Ghee - according to estimate
Green cardamom - 1
Water- as per your wish

Method of preparation: To make the melon seed barfi, first of all, offer a pan on medium flame on the gas and let it heat up. When the pan gets hot, add melon seeds and fry it. Keep in mind that while frying these seeds, they crackle and fry carefully. Fry these seeds for two minutes. When the seeds fry, turn off the gas and grind these seeds coarsely when they cool down a bit. Now add water and sugar in a pan and mix it well and allow it to boil.

When the first boil comes, reduce the flame and cook till the sugar syrup thickens. This process may take approximately ten minutes. Two wire syrup is to be made for this barfi. To check the syrup of two wire, take a drop syrup between your two fingers and pull it, if there are two wires between the fingers, then understand that the syrup is ready. Remove the green cardamom peel and grind its seeds.

Now add the ground melon seeds and cardamom in the syrup and mix well. Stir the mixture continuously and cook till the sugar syrup dries. This process will take about five minutes. Now take a plate or tray and add ghee to its bottom and smooth it. Now spread the mixture evenly on this plate and let it cool for a while. When the mixture cools down, cut it into the desired shape.
