Mumbai, September 17: Upcoming actors Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor will star together in a new romantic drama slated for release on February 7, 2025. The project, which was announced on social media by the film's makers, is directed by Advait Chandan, known for his work on 'Secret Superstar' and 'Laal Singh Chaddha.'

Junaid Khan, the son of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and the late actress Sridevi, will both make their mark in this film. While the title of the film has yet to be revealed, the announcement was accompanied by a teaser poster featuring the two leads capturing a moment together.

The film aims to explore themes of modern romance, social media, and human connections. Khushi's sister, actress Janhvi Kapoor, expressed her enthusiasm for the project on Instagram, describing it as "special."

Junaid Khan made his acting debut with Netflix's 'Maharaj,' a historical drama set in pre-independent India, which has sparked some controversy due to its sensitive subject matter. Meanwhile, Khushi Kapoor's debut came with Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies,' which premiered on Netflix last year and featured several star kids.
