Ever since A Tree Entertainment’s ‘Kya Ukhad Loge’ has been released, netizens have poured immense love and appreciation for the content that is currently topical and crucial for our society. The short film features Khushi Shah playing the lead role of a rape survivor.

Released on MX Player, Kya Ukhad Loge is a story about Manavi who is passing from a street at midnight and one man suddenly stopped her asked for help, and later what happens is a spine chilling incident.Just a few days upon its release, OTT platforms have already started approaching the makers of Kya Ukhad Loge for the rights. The actress is flooded with multiple calls and messages to congratulate her on the success of her short film. Apart from MX Player, the film is also streaming on phunflix.

Khushi Shah who played such a dark character for the very first time pulled it off effortlessly. Talking about the overall experience, she says, “'Kya Ukhad Loge' is on a rape incident. It has a strong message and this character wasn’t easy for me to pull off as back of my head I know how difficult it is when such sort of incident takes place. At one point I was shivering thinking the same as I know what we are shooting is going to get over once the director says cut but imagine what the woman would have gone through.

What happened in UP, Bihar, the list is never-ending and this is exactly what my film is all about 'Kya Ukhad Loge'. But keeping in mind the status of women in our country, by the end of the film I have mentioned while people are watching this movie there will be multiple cases already registered. It's important to stand for justice. We have to stand for ourselves and this movie is based on the concept. If you will watch this movie, you will know how I have ripped off this attitude and that’s exactly what my message is for all, through this movie. The women-centric film is hardly produced. Keeping that in mind I have picked the film that I am shooting, for now, showcasing three women in an action movie. I wish such films are being produced more. I feel women deserve more respect”.
