Kia is about to reveal the pricing of its new vehicle in India. After Seltos, Sonet, and Carnival, Kia's fourth product in the nation, Carens, will be officially launched on Tuesday. It was first presented in December of last year. The Carens, a three-row MPV or Recreational Vehicle (RV), was launched earlier this year at Kia's Anantapur manufacturing site in Andhra Pradesh. The bookings began last month, when the automobile began to arrive at showrooms.

Carens will come in five different compact sedans: Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus. A 10.25-inch primary infotainment screen, wireless connection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 64-color ambient lighting, air purifier, digital driver display, and a sunroof will be included in the top-spec model.

LED headlights, a completely digital instrument cluster, an electric sunroof, a one-touch electric tumble function for the second-row seats, a wireless charger, an air purifier, and roof-mounted air conditioning vents are all included as original kit on the Kia Carens.

Carens will be available with three engine and gearbox options from Kia. A 1.5-litre normally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine are among the options. A six-speed manual, a seven-speed DCT, or a six-speed automatic gearbox will handle the transmission duties.

A tyre pressure monitoring system, downhill braking control, six airbags, ABS, ESC, rear parking sensors, and disc brakes on all four wheels are among the safety features included in the Carens MPV. Carens is expected to cost between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 20 lakh from Kia (ex-showroom). The pricing will most likely be comparable to that of its technological cousin, the Hyundai Alcazar.
