Renowned South Korean car manufacturer Kia Motors (Kia Motors) may launch its new Kia Sonet (Kia Sonnet) compact SUV (compact SUV) car in India in the month of August. Kia Motors introduced this much-awaited compact SUV car at Auto Expo 2020 (Auto Expo 2020). Given the increasing competition in the compact SUV segment, the company can launch it in India at a much lower price. 

Kia Motors had hinted to launch Sonnet during the upcoming festive season. According to reports, Manohar Bhat, head, marketing and sales, Kia Motors India, has confirmed that the launch of this car is planned despite the issues related to the epidemic. He said, "Despite the Kovid issues, our earlier plans to launch it in the festival season remain intact. Our vendors, our suppliers, everyone wants us to launch the vehicle in the festive season, which is August-October."

The next product of Kia Motors will be the Sub-compact SUV Kia Sonet. The Kia Sonet will come with three engine options. Its 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine will get DCT and manual transmission. Intelligent manual transmission with 1.2 litres and 1.5-litre diesel engine will get 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. The diesel engine will also get an automatic powertrain, which is not available in the Hyundai Venue. The same, like the Seltos, the Kia Sonet will also be full of features. The SUV will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest smartphone connectivity. This car will get UVO connected car technology in which 37 features will be available under 5 segments.
