PUNE: Team India rode on century knock by skipper Virat Kohli and middle order batsman Kedar Jadhav registered emphatic win against England here at Maharashtra Cricket Ground near Pune. India took a 1-0 lead in the three match ODI series.

After losing four quick wickets including wicket of MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh at 63 runs, Kohli and Jadhav pull off miraculous chase for India by a fantastic 200-run partnership between them as they got total by 6 wickets with 11 balls remaining. Kedhar Jadhav was the man of the match.

A match that aggregated more than 700 runs was finally settled in India's favour with the 23rd six of the night.

Earlier, India had won the toss and Virat Kohli decided to let England bat first stating that he would like to take advantage of the dew that expected in the evening. Visitors posted mammoth 350 on board in a stipulated 50 overs losing seven wickets.
