New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) affiliated farmers' organization Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS) has made a big announcement today i.e. Thursday (December 15) saying that it will announce various relief measures for the farmers to improve their condition. Farmers will take out a national-level protest march in Delhi on December 19 for the demand of farmers.

BKS executive committee member Nana Akhare has said that the farmers who provide fruits, vegetables, grains, milk, etc. are today very disappointed due to not getting adequate prices for their agricultural produce and are committing suicide due to this. He further said, 'To solve the problems of the farmers, BKS demands payment of an appropriate price for all agricultural produce. Also, Goods and Services Tax (GST) should not be imposed on agricultural produce and financial assistance given under Kisan Samman Nidhi should be increased.'

BKS executive committee member Nana Akhare said that lakhs of farmers from across the country will participate in the Kisan Garjana rally to be held in the country's capital on Monday (December 19). The BKS has also demanded that the government should not approve Genetically Modified (GM) mustard seeds and that the import and export policy of the country should be in the interest of the people.
