Amritsar: The Special Operation Cell of Punjab Police has got a big success. Special Cell officials have arrested a spy who was leaking India's intelligence to Pakistan. Police said that the accused was sending Indian intelligence to the terrorist organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. The accused, identified as Tripendra Singh, was sending pictures and maps of important buildings in Punjab to the ISI. The accused, Tripendra, was also associated with a radical group.

The special cell has informed that the accused Tripendra Singh is 40 years old and has been arrested from Sector 40 in Chandigarh. For the last 4 years, was providing maps and photos of important government buildings of Punjab to ISI. Recently, there were also rocket attacks on two different offices of Punjab Police, in which accused Tripendra could also have a role, though it is under investigation. The accused spy was also in touch with SFJ terrorist Paramjit Singh Pamma. Mohali police produced the accused in court, which sent him to 4-day police remand.

According to the report, two mobile phones have been recovered from the possession of the detective arrested from Mohali in Punjab. Punjab Police has said that for the last several years, Tripendra Singh had been working as a spy and sending important information about India to the Pakistani agency. On the basis of interrogation, accused Tripendra said that he was appointed by a Major posted in ISI. A police officer said that the accused is being questioned about the ISI Major.
