Kites with messages ‘Chappal Chor Pakistan’ on the lookout for Jadhav's freedom flown in Vadodara

Vadodara (Gujarat) [India], Jan 15 (NT): On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, kites and balloons in Vadodara were flown with a  release message to free the Indian Naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav from the custody of Pakistan.

 At present Kulbhushan Jadhav is on a death row in Pakistan over charges of terrorism and intelligence work to spy Pakistani officials for India's intelligence agency- Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

 Several People expressed their annoyance over the misconduct fired to Jadhav's kin by Pakistan Govt and officials.

For criticizing Pakistan’s misconduct In the Kites and balloons, the people wrote messages, "Chappal Chor Pakistan" on them in Vadodara.

Few days before, a group of Indian-Americans and Balochs carried out a remonstration with a name 'Chappal Chor Pakistan' in front of the Pakistan embassy in Washington DC.In this protest group of people  also donated  their used shoes to the Pak- embassy terming that 'protest is in solidarity with Jadhav's kin.'

A distressful meeting took place between Jadhav and his kin on December 25 in Islamabad, on the demand of the Indian government where Jadhav's wife was asked to remove her shoes and Mangal sutra along with Jadhav’s mother and use another pair as they had to go the Foreign Office to pay visit to her husband (NT)
