India has put England team in pressure by winning 2 matches out of 3 games so far of the 5 match series. Indian team would be happy to join back the start opener KL Rahul to the side as well. The fitness report says that he will be able to play in the fourth test match in Mumbai which is scheduled to start from 8th December. He will be opening with the consistent Murali Vijay making a good opening pair for the team.

KL Rahul was out of the 3rd test because of persistent finger injury which he has faced in the last match against New Zealand in Vizag. He is having a spectacular year so far except the last 4 innings where he has scored the total of 80 runs. But these mere numbers can't decide the potential of the young talent. He is scoring runs for the team and which is the reason he has been put to open the innings for the team.

After the batting crunch by the Indian middle order in the opening test match, KL Rahul was called from the middle of ongoing Ranji Series. Gautam Gambhir's poor form has also put the positive hopes for the young talent and right now KL Rahul is the number 1 choice for the opening batsman even Virat Kohli has admitted.

Because of Wriddhiman Saha being out of 3rd match due to injury, Parthiv Patel has been called and he has paired with Murali Vijay to begin the Indian innings.
