-She was remembered as the first female superstar of Bollywood industry who also known as the name of lady Amitabh Bachan. The actress continues to have a tremendous fan following all over the world. However, the actress left everyone in upset after the news broke out that she took her last breath due to a massive cardiac arrest in Dubai.

-Sri Devi who melted many hearts with her performances and went on to be recognised as the 'first female superstar' marked her Bollywood debut in the year 1979. The film was titled 'Solva Sawan'. Helmed by P. Bharathiraja, the movie starred Amol Palekar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda in pivotal roles along with Sridevi.

- Moreover, as she marked her debut in Bollywood she did films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam industries. As a child artist, she made her Bollywood appearance with 1975 film 'Julie' but did a role in M.A. Thirumugham’s devotional 'Thunaivan' at the age of four and continued to work in South-Indian films for several years as a child artist.

-Sridevi has won many awards in her career for her performances in a number of films. Sridevi won her first 'Filmfare Award for Best Actress
