There was a time in Bhojpuri cinema, when the whole family used to go to theaters to watch the film together. Karnapriya songs made on family movies and popular tunes were remembered by people for months. Then slowly came the era of multiplexes. Women stopped going to small theaters and this was the period when vulgar Bhojpuri songs started being prepared. During this period, Manoj Tiwari came up with songs that the family members could sit and listen to together. Manoj Tiwari's songs started making a place in the heart. Manoj Tiwari gradually became the biggest face as a singer in Bhojpuria society.

This was the period of 2004. Ravi Kishan was the only young actor in Bhojpuri, who dominated both Hindi and Bhojpuri. Meanwhile, Sudhakar Pandey placed a bet on Manoj Tiwari. Through the 'Sasura Bada Paiswala' movie, this bet was successful in reviving Bhojpuri cinema to a large extent.

Manoj Tiwari had now become a Bhojpuri superstar. Rani also became an overnight hit with this film. Ajay Sinha also came into the limelight by directing the film.
