Every year, in the statistics of lakhs of pilgrims at these pilgrimage sites, pilgrims reach for darshan and wish their wishes are fulfilled.

Yamunotri: Yamunotri Dham, considered to be the first stop of the small Chardham Yatra, was built by Queen Gulenia of Jaipur in the 19th century. There are many cisterns in which hot water flows. Devotees cook rice in a cloth in the kund and accept it as prasad. The temple is opened every year on the run of Akshaya Tritiya and has special worship on Deepawali.

Kedarnath: It is said that the first reference to Kedarnath was found in the Skanda Purana. There is also a belief from this place that Mahadev left the waters of the holy River Ganga here with his tangled hair. If you want to visit the temple on the Mandakini coast of Uttarakhand, plan only between April and November, as it snows due to cold and is closed.

The River Ganga originates from gomukh present in the Gangotri Glacier. The temple is opened in Akshaya Tritiya and is closed for darshan after Deepawali.

Badrinath: Adi Shankaracharya is said to have established Badrinath as a pilgrimage site in the 8th century. The temple is currently present in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. In the 16th century, the king of Garhwal transferred the statue of Badrinath to the present temple.
