Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month will start from 05:32 pm on 10th April and it is going to end on 11th April at 03 pm. Udaya Tithi has special significance in Sanatan Dharma. In such a situation, Gangaur fast is going to be observed on 11th April. On the day of Gangaur fast, the auspicious time for performing puja is said to be from 06.29 am to 08.24 am.

During Gangaur fast, it should be taken in Brahma Muhurta. After this, the day should be started with meditation of Gods and Goddesses.
After this, one has to take bath, wear clean clothes and apply sixteen makeup.
Now make idols of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati from clay.
Make them sit on a stool spread with a red cloth.
After this, offer sandalwood, roli and akshat to Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.
Offer sixteen makeup items to Goddess Parvati.
Now light the lamp and perform the Aarti of Gangaur Mata and take a pledge to fast.
At the end, offer special things and distribute Prasad among the people.
