Lucknow: In the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh, cabinet minister Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary can become the new chief of the UP BJP unit. Bhupendra Chaudhary met with BJP National President JP Nadda in Delhi on Wednesday. Since then, discussions have started regarding his name. It is believed that on Thursday, the BJP can announce the president of the new state. Through Bhupendra Chaudhary, who hails from the Jat community of western UP, the BJP can play a stake in balancing both regional and caste in the state.

According to sources, the BJP High Command summoned UP Panchayati Raj Minister Bhupendra Chaudhary to Delhi on Wednesday. After this, he came to Delhi hurriedly from Azamgarh and met BJP Chief JP Nadda. The party's high command has given its consent to hand over the reins of the state to Chaudhary. In such a situation, it is believed that Bhupendra Chaudhary will now take the place of Swatantra Dev Singh. In fact, in view of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024, the BJP wants to give the responsibility of the state president to the leader of western UP so that regional equations are being made.

If CM Yogi Adityanath comes from Purvanchal, then there is a plan to give the command of the organization to Western UP. In such a situation, Bhupendra Choudhary is considered to be the most powerful leader to handle the Jat vote bank in western UP. Thus BJP is trying to create caste and regional balance through Bhupendra Chaudhary.
