Kritika Nakshatra on 12 August while Bharani Nakshatra was on 11 August. After these two comes Rohini Nakshatra, Lord Shri Krishna was born in this constellation which is going to come on 13 August. Sri Krishna's birth anniversary will be celebrated at midnight of August 12 in many places.
According to the date, Janmashtami has been celebrated on 11 August, while according to the constellation, this festival will be celebrated on 12 August.
