Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Liger, one of the much-awaited pan-India films is releasing on August 25. The film marks the debut of the actor in Bollywood but before this, you can get glimpses of the duo in the fourth episode of Koffee with Karan7.
The promo opens up with, Karan hinting at Ananya’s rumored boyfriend Aditya Rao saying, "I saw at my party," Ananya then cuts him off and says, "No no you didn't see anything." Karan still continues, "What's brewing between you and Aditya Roy Kapoor." Hearing this, while Ananya went speechless, Aditya said, “Ooh.”
Karan Johar also asked Vijay about the craziest place he's had sex. Ananya guessed that it would be ‘today morning’. Karan corrects her ‘it’s this morning'. When the actor replies ‘in a car’, Karan asked if it wasn't too uncomfortable. Vijay said ‘desperate time’ make people do such things.
The show’s host Karan Johar who then goes on to ask Vijay Deverakonda that does he like cheese? The expression on Vijay’s face on hearing this question is too cute. Then we can see a small clip from Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor’s episode where they talk about Vijay being on a cheese platter. To this Ananya Panday asks that can she be on the same cheese platter leaving KJo in splits.
On the professional front Ananya and Vijay are currently promoting their film Liger. In the film Vijay plays the role of an MMA fighter. Actor Ramya Krishnan plays the role of Vijay's mother and Ananya Panday plays the role of Vijay's love interest. The film also stars boxing legend Mike Tyson. Liger, which marks the Hindi film debut of Vijay, is directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Karan Johar. The film is all set to hit theatres on August 25, 2022.
