Kolhapur, In a shocking incident, some unknown persons murdered an elderly doctor couple at their clinic in the district.

The deceased were identified as, Uddhav Kulkarni 65 and his wife Pradnya Kulkarni 62, hailing from Sangli.

The bodies of deceased were today found in their private clinic at Rukadi village under Hatkanangale taluka of the district by some persons.

According to police, “the clinic was closed yesterday and on Sunday. People thought it might have been shut because of the weekly holiday and load-shedding yesterday. However, when the doors were opened, some persons found the couple dead with wounds on their neck and head”.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is on in the matter.
