After model Kripali had highlighted the unsavoury experiences of current and former students of the popular school in Chennai, through her social networking page, a few celebrities from the Tamil film fraternity have also voiced their opinions on the issue. The controversy is about a teacher who teaches Accountancy and Business Studies in the school.
Many students of the school have levelled complaints of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour against the teacher, who is teaching at the KK Nagar branch of the school. It is alleged that the teacher harassed young girl students and spoke with them inappropriately on many occasions. One of the students who shared their ordeal made a shocking revelation that the teacher had attended an online class in his towel.
Singer Chinmayi, was the first among the film fraternity to share model Kripali's social media posts and highlighted the experiences of the students. The popular singer took to Twitter and posted, "Wish parents of students at PSBB to file a case. Not sure how many could do it since they shut their own kids down fearing ‘dignity’ and ‘family honour’. This offenders use to their advantage. People like Rajagopalan, Ramesh Prabha should’ve been in jail for Child Sexual Abuse."
Actress Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, who was recently seen in Dhanush-starrer 'Karnan' directed by Mari Selvaraj, posted, "TW: stories of sexual harassment. Rajagopalan, commerce teacher in #PSBB(KKN) is a sexual harasser.
Popular Tamil film producer Archana Kalpathi had also reacted to the trending controversy and posted, "Sexual harassment cannot be normalized It was heartbreaking to see stories about this commerce teacher in #PSBB As alumni, Love and hugs to all the brave girls who have shared their stories."
