ISKCON Vice President Radharaman Das has tweeted and said that there are many temples of ISKCON in surrounding countries including Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary. To help the people of Ukraine, ISKCON has organized free food, water and shelter in all its temples. ISKCON has 54 temples in Ukraine alone. In such a situation, by sending the location of temples to the people suffering from hunger and thirst, they are also advising to take help there.

Radharaman Das has said that he has started langar to help thousands of people who are fleeing from Ukraine to Hungary to take refuge. There, full assistance is being provided to the people who are running away from the devastation. Along with providing them food and water, places to live are also being provided. The Indian Embassy in Hungary is also helping in this noble work of ISKCON.

Where ISKCON has tweeted about this and said, 'When you get lemon in life, instead of being afraid of its sourness, make lemonade out of it. Sanatan Dharma has taught the same to these ISKCON devotees in Kyiv. Whatever they have learned, they are applying it in this difficult time. Our ISKCON temples all over Ukraine are ready to serve the needy. Welcome to our temples.

ISKCON has further said that even during the Chechnya war (1995), ISKCON devotees have started serving people without caring for their lives. While serving one of our devotees, he was shot dead. Devotees have also assisted in providing free food to 850,000 Russians, Chechens, Georgians, Armenians and war victims.

This initiative of ISKCON is also being appreciated tremendously on social media. A user has said that Sanatan Dharma is not doing any new work. He always considers service to the needy as his religion. Wherever the crisis came, India and the people of India, following this religion, have extended their help to them.
