New Delhi: Nominations have been filed for the Rajya Sabha elections to be held on 26 March 2020. At the same time, Congress has released another list of its candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections. It is also being said that Shakti Singh Gohil and Bharat Singh Solanki will contest from Gujarat. But now it is noted that Deepender Singh Hooda will contest elections from Haryana. Apart from this, Jyotiraditya Scindia, who came from the Congress to the Bharatiya Janata Party, will file his nomination in Bhopal.

Congress candidate for two seats in Chhattisgarh: According to the information received, it has been learned that for two seats of Rajya Sabha in Chhattisgarh, Congress candidates KTS Tulsi and Phoolo Devi Netam reached the assembly and filed nomination. Along with Congress candidates, state in-charge PL Punia, CM Bhupesh Baghel, state president Mohan Markam and cabinet members were included. BJP has not fielded any candidate for Rajya Sabha. In such a situation, the uncontested election of these two candidates has been decided.

Know the full schedule: It has been learned that on 13 March 2020, the last date for filing nominations. On March 16, nomination papers will be scrutinized (scrutiny). March 18, 2020 is the last date for withdrawal of nominations. At the same time, as of the date announced by the Election Commission, Rajya Sabha elections are to be held on March 26 on 55 Rajya Sabha seats in 17 states. Voting for this will be done from 9 am to 4 pm and votes will be counted at 5 pm.
