New Delhi: In the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav imprisoned in Pakistan jail, India has demanded consular access to Pakistan without any restrictions. This demand has been placed before Pakistan on behalf of India before filing the review petition in the International Court of Justice (ICJ). According to the ICJ, there should be consular access and independent trial.

India told Pakistan that you cannot limit the language of conversation to English only during consular access. India wants Pakistan to allow two officials to meet Kulbhushan Jadhav. Earlier the Indian Foreign Ministry had said that we will use all legal options to save the life of Kulbhushan Jadhav. In fact, recently, Pakistan had claimed that Jadhav has refused to file a review petition. Reacting to this, a spokesman of the Indian Foreign Ministry has said that Pakistan's claim on Jadhav is far-reaching. India is exploring all the legal options to save Jadhav.

The Indian Foreign Ministry had said that Pakistan's new claim is a part of the fraud that has been going on for the last four years. Jadhav was sentenced to death through a mock trial. He is in the possession of the Pakistan Army. He is expressly obliged to refuse to file a review petition.
