According to official media, Kuwait has formed a new government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Emir, welcomed the Prime Minister, approved the new cabinet formation he presented, and wished him well in serving the Kuwaiti people. According to the report, the Emir hoped that the legislature of government would work together for Kuwait's prosperity and welfare.
The government presented their resignation on November 8, and the Emir accepted it on November 14. On behalf of the emir, Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued an order naming Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister and tasked him with forming a cabinet on November 23.
