Patna: The house of a labour enforcement officer in the Alamganj area of Bihar's capital Patna has been raided by the monitoring department. Rs 2.25 crore cash has been seized so far. In addition, gold jewellery worth crores of rupees, land papers, passbooks of several banks, credit cards, fixed deposits etc. have also been received. All the papers have been recovered by the monitoring department team and a list of recovered goods is being prepared.

According to the report, The House of Deepak Sharma, Labour Information Officer, Hajipur, is located at Shriram Path in Bajrangpuri in the Alamganj police station area. The monitoring department team reached Deepak Sharma's house on Saturday morning and launched a raid. At present, action is being taken continuously by the officials of the department.

On December 9, the monitoring team raided the house of Motihari Product Superintendent Avinash Prakash in connection with more than income property. Property worth several other crores of rupees including 23 land papers, bank accounts, LIC papers were detected from Avinash's house. Everyone was stunned after the same property was disclosed and is now under investigation.
