Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in an address last Saturday said, "Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital will be expanded. In fact, last Saturday, while inaugurating the three-day Ayurveda Parv 2021 at Rajgir, the Chief Minister said, "After seeing the status of Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, we decided to expand it. It is our responsibility to improve its system. He further said, "Government Tibbi College will be shifted for which 10 acres of land has been allotted next to Nalanda Medical College campus. The building will be shifted to the new campus after it is constructed in one and a half to two years.''

He also said, "Keeping in view the road between Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital Government Tibbi College, both the buildings will be connected from the top for movement so that the road is not blocked. Thus, the Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital will not only expand but will also look very beautiful.''

He further assured that 'closed Ayurvedic colleges will be started elsewhere. 8.38 crore has been approved by the Cabinet for expansion and development of Government Rai Bahadur Tunki Sah Homoeopathic Medical College Muzaffarpur, Maharani Rameshwari Indian Institute of Medical Sciences, Darbhanga and Government Ayodhya Shivakumari Ayurveda College and Hospital, Begusarai. Work on the same will start after completing other necessary procedures. He said, "Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital Patna as well as Government Ayurvedic College, Bhagalpur will also be renovated. Additional funds will be provided by the State Government. Further, he also said, 'There is Panchparvat in Rajgir. There is a huge store of herbs here.''
