New Delhi: Earthquake tremors were felt in two different regions of the country amid republic day celebrations across the country on January 26 and farmers' tractor march in Delhi. First, the earthquake occurred in Ladakh and later in Pune in Maharashtra in the evening. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NSC), a magnitude of 3.6 magnitude earthquake was felt on the Richter scale at 12.48 pm on Tuesday in Ladakh.

In Maharashtra, a 2.6 magnitude earthquake jolted Pune at 07.28 pm. However, there is no report of any loss of life and property from the earthquake in both the places. Earthquake tremors are often felt in Ladakh. Even before the tremors were felt on October 19 last year, it had a magnitude of 3.6.

The continuous earthquake tremors are being felt in different parts of the country for a long time, which is a serious matter of concern. In this episode, the tremors of September earthquake have been felt in Kargil and Andaman and Nicobar in Ladakh. This information was given on behalf of the National Centre for Seismology. Its intensity on the Richter scale is recorded at 4.0. The tremors were felt at Diglipur in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
