Ramgarh: In Jharkhand's Ramgarh district, a woman police officer has been arrested for taking bribes. According to the news, the criminal woman police officer was extorting money from the culprits of the rape case. The officer of the Anti-Corruption Bureau said that the female police officer had threatened the criminals that if they did not pay the bribe, they would demolish their house. 

According to the agency, Deputy Superintendent of Police, ACB, Shadiq Anwar Rizvi said that the delinquent officer was also the in-charge of a woman police station. She has been arrested for taking bribes, she was demanding a bribe of Rs 10,000 in lieu of hiding a rape case registered last year. 

At the same time, the ACB said in a statement that the woman police officer probing the rape case had threatened the family of the rape case officer that their house would be bulldozed if they did not pay the bribe. Following this threat by the woman officer, the family of the criminal lodged a complaint with the ACB. Thereafter, the ACB laid a trap and caught the lady police officer red-handed. Not only this, a case has been registered against the woman police officer.
