Lakshmi Gopalaswamy took a trip down memory lane when she came across an old photo. The throwback picture was taken back in 2001 when she was attending an award show, after the success of her debut movie ?Arayannangalude Veedu?. In the throwback photo, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy is seen striking a pose along with her friends and actors Kavya Madhavan, Samyuktha Varma, Geetu Mohandas, and KPAC Lalitha. Lakshmi Gopalaswamy also paid tributes to the late AK Lohithadas, the director of her debut film.

Lakshmi Gopalaswamy ventured into movies with the 2000 release ?Arayannangalude Veedu?, which was directed by AK Lohithadas and featured Mammootty and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy in the lead roles. She also bagged the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress for her performance in the film. Meanwhile, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy was shooting for ?Salute? earlier. The upcoming Malayalam film is directed by Rosshan Andrrews and it features Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.
