Advani gets emotional on remembering Arun Jaitley, says " Used to come home every Diwali "

NEW DELHI: Former Finance Minister and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley passed away on Saturday at the age of 66. He was ill for a long time and was admitted to Delhi's AIIMS Hospital. Arun Jaitley was admitted to AIIMS on August 9 after having breathing problems. The death of Arun Jaitley has been mourned by many leaders of the country and the world.

Senior BJP leader L.K.Advani also paid homage to Arun Jaitley. He said Jaitley's visit is not only a loss to the BJP but also for the entire nation. Besides, L.K.Advani said that Jaitley was very fond of food and he often spoke about good restaurants. Advani said, "He used to come to my house with his family on Diwali every year.

I am shocked to hear of Jaitley's death, said L.K.Advani, the veterean BJP leader. He was also an outstanding MP and a great administrator with being a brilliant lawyer. Advani said, "He was a dedicated party worker for decades, when I was THE BJP President, he was appointed a member of the party's core team and in a very short time he became the party's chief leader.
