Patna: The party has organized a Silver Jubilee celebrations on Monday to mark 25 years of the establishment of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav will launch the event virtually from Delhi as he is unwell and will also address party workers. Lalu Prasad Yadav, 73, who is away from active politics for a long time in jail, said the leader never retires. At the same time, Lalu, in his familiar style, slammed the RSS and said that the board of directors has copyright for half pants.

In an interview, Lalu Prasad Yadav said that a leader never retires. He also said that contesting and joining elections is not just about politics. His politics of social justice and uplifting of the deprived community continues even today. We will continue to fight for the rights of the underprivileged and the exploited till the last minute.

Talking about Narendra Modi's choice in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Lalu Prasad Yadav said that whatever option is there will not be dictatorial, arrogant and self-enamoured. He also said that pm Modi's tenure for so many days has proved that individual-based politics harms democracy. Narendra Modi's option can only be a progressive agenda against his anti-people policy.
