On Tuesday, a member of the Lalu family has joined the death of Shanti Devi, the mother of former minister Captain Ajay Singh Yadav and grandmother of MLA Chiranjeev Rao. She said that the late mother Shanti Devi was of a very simple nature. I met her many times. Whenever I met her she blessed me and also wished for longevity. Her affection will never be forgotten. She devoted her entire life to social work.

Misa Bharti is the eldest daughter of former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav. Captain Ajay Singh Yadav's son MLA Chiranjeev Rao is married to Lalu Yadav's younger daughter Anushka. Chiranjeev Rao won the Haryana Assembly elections-2019. Tejasvi Yadav, a senior leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar also came to campaign for his brother-in-law. He campaigned for Chiranjeev by staying here for several days. The result also showed its advantage and Chiranchiv won by 1300 votes. Lalu Prasad Yadav, the chief of Rashtriya Janata Dal and former Chief Minister of Bihar, is currently serving a sentence in jail due to the punishment in the fodder scam.
