On Tuesday, a member of the Lalu family has joined the death of Shanti Devi, the mother of former minister Captain Ajay Singh Yadav and grandmother of MLA Chiranjeev Rao. Rajya Sabha member Misa Bharti reached Captain Yadav's residence in Model Town to tie up the conscience on behalf of the family of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.

She devoted her entire life to social work.

Misa Bharti is the eldest daughter of former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav. Captain Ajay Singh Yadav's son MLA Chiranjeev Rao is married to Lalu Yadav's younger daughter Anushka. Chiranjeev Rao won the Haryana Assembly elections-2019. Tejasvi Yadav, a senior leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar also came to campaign for his brother-in-law. He campaigned for Chiranjeev by staying here for several days. The result also showed its advantage and Chiranchiv won by 1300 votes. Lalu Prasad Yadav, the chief of Rashtriya Janata Dal and former Chief Minister of Bihar, is currently serving a sentence in jail due to the punishment in the fodder scam. Former state president Ashok Tanwar, MLA from Ellenabad Abhay Singh Chautala, MLA from Bahadurgarh, Rajendra Singh June, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Dharmadev, former minister Rao Narbir also expressed grief at the Captain's residence.
