Patna: With the announcement of Delhi Assembly elections, there is a competition among political parties of Bihar to show strength in the national capital. Janata Dal (United) has already announced to enter Delhi's election riot. Now the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has also become active in Delhi to find its land. The RJD has announced to field its candidates in 12 seats.
RJD spokesperson and MP Manoj Jha has said that the party leadership has got the green signal to contest the Delhi elections. At present, the party has decided to contest 12 seats. Encouraged after the BJP was ousted from power through better coordination in Jharkhand, the RJD is also hopeful of an alliance in Delhi. The RJD wants to ally with the Congress here, but the Congress has not yet clarified how many seats it will give to the RJD. However, the RJD hopes that it will be given at least 10 to 12 seats.
According to Jha, there will be a meeting between the two parties on January 11 and only then will the RJD put its cards in front. Let us tell you that in the Jharkhand elections, RJD was given seven seats in the alliance, in which it has won one. The RJD did not contest the Delhi Assembly elections in 2015.
