Bollywood Lara Dutta is excited to play the role of a police officer for the first time in the comedy-action web series 'Hundred'. Recently she said, "Her character is working hard to survive in the world of men". In fact, Lara will be seen as ACP Soumya Shukla in this series.

While talking about this, Lara said, "This show is a fun and entertaining story of a couple and the turmoil that comes in their lives." Further, she added, "I had many reasons to say yes to the show, one of them is that I have never played the role of a cop on screen and my character is trying my best to survive in the world of men. People make her problem more complicated."

This show is co-directed by Narayan, Ashutosh Shah and Tahir Shabbir and the cast includes names like Karan Wahi, Sudhanshu Pandey, Parmeet Sethi, Rohini Hattanagiri, Arun Nalavade and Makarand Deshpande. This series of eight episodes is going to be launched on April 25 on Disney Hotstar VIP.
