Haridwar: The Kumbha administration is fully geared up for the Shahi Snan scheduled for April 27. After interacting with the akharas, the bathing time of the akharas has also been fixed. The arena will take a bath this time too in order to take the Shahi Snan of April 14. Meanwhile, the number of saints and devotees is expected to be significantly lower due to the coronavirus epidemic.

In view of this situation, the Kumbha administration has not implemented the new traffic plan. According to the information received, the last Shahi Snan of Haridwar Kumbh on Chaitra Purnima will be as per the order prescribed by the All India Akhara Parishad. The incoming paths of the akharas during the Shahi Snan will also not be blocked. Traffic on the highway will remain intact. At the same time, all the akharas have been appealed to celebrate the bath symbolically. At least a large number of only saints arrived for the bath.

CO Traffic Kumbh Prakash Deoli has said that all preparations have been completed for the Shahi Snan on April 27. Especially the traffic plan will also be implemented for previous baths and the highway will not be blocked this time. Traffic on roadways will remain the same as before. He said traffic will be stopped only when the akharas arrive if required.
