It is celebrated on 16th December every year in remembrance of the jawans who sacrificed their lives on the country. In the year 1971, there was a war against atrocities on people in the Middle Eastern Pak of Hindustan and West Pakistan. After which, Bangladesh (then East Pakistan) was born. In this Indo-Pak war, 93000 Pakistani soldiers had succumbed to the Indian Army. 1- The war between India and Pak in 1-1971 will be 49 years on December 16. On this day, Pak soldiers surrendered before the Indian Army. This was the biggest loss of that time. This damage cannot be completed even today.

2- It is also said that on 16th December 1971, 93000 soldiers of Pak Army surrendered themselves to the Indian Army by showing a white flag amidst the war. This war was the result of the Bangladesh Liberation War when Bangladesh had independence from Pakistan.
