New Delhi: Protests continue across the country against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Today, the left parties have announced the Bharat Bandh, protests are also going on in many places from Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad to Mumbai, the capital of the country. Demonstrations have been taking place against it for the last several days, in some areas of Delhi, the protest took a violent form. Demonstrations are being held in many parts of the country today to protest against this act brought by the Modi government.

1. Section 144 has been imposed in UP in view of the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act. No rally, picket, demonstration, road show will be done without permission.

2. Like UP, Hyderabad Police has also issued an alert and said that no demonstration, rally, road show has been allowed. Violation of this will take strong action.

3. At the same time, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, many organizations have spoken out against the citizenship law, in view of this, Section 144 has been imposed there. State CM BS Yeddyurappa held a meeting with top officials and inspected security.

4. Workers of the Left parties stopped the train during Bharat Bandh in Patna, Darbhanga, Bihar. During this period, protesters raised slogans against CAA.

5. Students protest against citizenship law is going to be held today in Mumbai's August Kranti Maidan, big names like Swara Bhaskar, Kunal Kamra, Farhan Akhtar can participate in this demonstration.
