Mumbai: A leopard entered a housing society in Mumbai's Goregaon area. This is said to have created a terror among the people there. The incident of leopard coming to the society was seen on CCTV cameras. The incident is said to be from the Green View Society of Bimbisara Nagar in Goregaon. In fact, when a man who came to the society at around 5 a.m. last Friday to give milk saw the leopard roaming there, he lost consciousness. He told the watchman about it. The watchman then informed the secretary of the society. As soon as the information was received, all the people living in the society were asked not to come out of the building.

Meanwhile, the leopard left and no one was harmed. You all must be aware that in the past, there have been incidents of leopard entering colonies and attacking people in many parts of the country. Recently, Kherwadi police arrested a man who had come to Bandra area of Mumbai to sell leopard skins. The arrested man has been identified as Manoj Sridhar Badve and police seized leopard skins worth Rs 22 lakh from him. Police had also said that a team was formed as soon as they came to know about it.

The team conducted a surprise raid near BMC colony near Bandra Kalanagar and detained Badve. Police further said that when they took a plastic bag from his hand and examined it, they found the leopard skin in it. The leopard skin is about 46 inches long and 19 inches wide, priced at around Rs 22 lakh.
