Bhopal: Political events are getting faster. A letter war has been started in the state amid all the doubts of the formation or fall of the government. As recently as Assembly Speaker NP Prajapati wrote a letter to Governor Lalji Tandon, in which he is demanding the Governor to get the legislators imprisoned in Bangalore. Now in response to this, the Governor has written a letter to Prajapati. Tandon has written that Prajapati may have sent the letter to them by mistake.

According to the information received, it has been learned that the Governor wrote in his letter, 'In the last paragraph of your letter, you have demanded the protection of the MLAs. The executive is responsible for the safety of all the citizens of the state and you would want protection from it, but this letter has been sent to me in error. It has been learned that Prajapati had written a letter to Tandon on 17 March 2020, requesting the release of the imprisoned MLAs in Bangalore. According to information received from sources, earlier Prajapati had said in a letter to the Governor, "I have received resignations of 16 MLAs through some other person." According to the rules of the House, all the MLAs were asked to appear in person, but none of them came.

He wrote further, The resignations are currently under consideration. The letter further states that some of the relatives of 16 MLAs have also raised concerns about their safety. I am also worried and request you to take concrete steps to allay our fears. The state CM Kamal Nath had written a letter to the Governor, answering the question asked not to have a floor test citing the house being adjourned till the next date. Governor Lalji Tandon himself wrote a letter to Chief Minister Kamal Nath asking him to conduct a floor test and prove his majority.
