New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is in new trouble. In light of the amended Motor Vehicles Act, light-riding motor vehicle drivers will surround the CM residence today i.e. Wednesday. They will raise 23 point demands, including signs banning the operation of light passenger vehicles (rural services, eco-friendly services and maxi cabs) on stage carriage routes by the Department of Transport. Sanjay Bathla, the spokesperson of the joint struggle committee of light vehicles organization, said that the government has implemented the new Motor Vehicles Act, but it is impossible to do so without better infrastructure for driving vehicles.

That is why the charitable organizations will gather outside the CM residence at 9 am. Bathla demanded that the report prepared for the modification of routes for the operation of public-private vehicles in Delhi should not be implemented. This report recommends a complete ban on light carriage vehicles on stage carriage routes, which is not in the interest of the drivers.

The driver's association has also requested to order a separate permit condition for the light passenger motor vehicle.
