The SET investigating itself in Haryana's popular liquor scam has got entangled in its own realm. The SET needs documents for investigation. SET chief TC Gupta has once again written a letter to the government. The letter states that the SET needs documents from the Excise Department for investigation. Giving this information, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said that not a single paper has come to the SET yet. On the other hand, the Bhupendra Gujarat Police, the kingpin of the scam, has also been questioned.

For your information, tell that Bihar Police is also looking for Bhupendra in some cases. The SET was formed on 10 May. 45 days have passed since the formation of SET, but the result has not been achieved yet. Earlier, at the time of formation of the SET, the Home Minister had recommended the names of three IAS officers including IAS Ashok Khemka. Khemka was Vij's first choice, but SET was formed under the chairmanship of TC Gupta instead of Khemka. Vij later wrote a letter to the government to increase the power of SET. This file also got entangled in legal issues.

For your information, let us tell you that SET chief TC Gupta recommended the government to extend the tenure of SET. It said that the SET needs the necessary documents. At the same time, Anil Vij's statement came that the Excise Department is not giving papers to SET, due to which SET is not able to investigate. At the same time, the police has arrested the accused Inspector Jasbir in the scam, but the arrest took a long time. That too when his family has been living in Haryana. Sources say that there is a big reason behind the delay in arrest of Jasbir.
